I subscribe to a site on YouTube that has some beautiful Puritan prayers. I got an email a few days ago telling me that a new video had been uploaded onto that site. I just got around to listening to it today and . . . WOW! It's really incredible! Isaiah 6 is a really powerful passage and God has used it in my life mightily. I googled to see if I could find out more about Jonathan Dawson, and that led me here. Nothing can add to the Word of God, but what Jonathan does really glorifies God and shows the power of that passage. As I listened I found myself in awe all over again of that passage. His knowledge of the Word and the gift of writing God has blessed him with combine with a wonderful oratory voice to make this something really special. I will be posting it on my Facebook page soon (I posted two things today and try not to overwhelm people! :-) ) Please pass my gratitude on to your friend, Jonathan Dawson. I would still like to know who he is. :-)
Hi there! Praise God that those Puritan prayers and the spoken word piece were encouraging! The woman who uploads the Puritan prayers is my best friend, Aja Dawson. We LOVE those prayers. Aja's husband, Jonathan Dawson, is the man who created the spoken word piece entitled "True King" based off of Isaiah 6. Aja created the visuals for the video and uploaded it to YouTube. I agree with your assessment of the poem! It's so good to hear that the Lord has used his art to challenge and encourage believers, and I will certainly pass on your message to Jonathan and Aja!
